Honorary membership is only open to full members who has held the office of president of the board, president of a World Congress of Parkinson's Disease and Related Disorders, editor of the official journal of the association, or served the Association in a comparable way. The decision regarding the award of an honorary membership shall be taken in the annual general meeting in the manner stipulated in the bylaws of the association. Honorary members are not required to pay for participation in activities such as congresses and similar events organised by the association.
